History

Women’s Health Alliance has a proud history of serving the medical needs of Indianapolis and the surrounding community for over twenty-five years. Since it’s founding in 1983 with Dr Charles Echt, Dr David Copher and Dr William Stone, first known as CES Associates, and was its partnership with Winona Hospital.

The practice moved to the hub of Indianapolis and became associated with Methodist Hospital. During this time, additional physicians joined the group and Dr Stone retired. After many years with Methodist, CES Associates moved to the newly created Humana Women’s Hospital on the far north side of Indianapolis. The group changed its name to Women’s Health Alliance, Dr Copher retired, and continued to increase the number of physicians and soon became recognized as the premier OB/GYN practice in the State of Indiana.

In 2006, the Practice moved to Clarian Medical Center, North, as the anchor in the Medical Office Building where it remains today. We endeavor to meet the unique needs of each patient in our practice. Our patients come from a wide area of Indiana as well as the bordering States of Illinois and Ohio. We will strive to do our best to meet your healthcare needs.
